Our beach is fructified with creamy coconuts, and a wave of information on Nuitech’s rule change; Canadian company indicted for malefaction, and their identity revealed; new links wash up on shore. Grab your boards then scamper into the ocean to ride the waves…

After replacing “RewardStream” with the “Canadian company”, my posts will reflect “Consumers Reward Solutions” as there is veritable proof that Consumers Reward Solutions are the suspects. This proof, and a malicious threat, will be laid out for your viewing. RewardStream are now out of the picture, so from this point on we’ll call the Canadian company Consumers Reward Solutions. Please commit that to memory. I’m sorry the write up below is so brief, there was barely an ounce of information on them.
Consumers Reward Solutions–
ConsumersRewardSolutions are a Canadian lead generation and customer acquisition network serving businesses of all proportions worldwide. They connect advertisers with highly qualified opt-in members from their company web site. Through automated optimization technology and demographic targeting, ConsumersRewardSolutions perennially upsurges value to its direct-response advertisers and improves return on investment.
Cogent evidence will prove without a shadow of a doubt that Consumers Reward Solutions are the Canadian company. Allow me to introduce three individuals involved with Consumers Reward Solutions: Elise Petri, Karrie-Lee Karreman, and Sean Miller. These people plays roles in the company that have, and are still scamming participants of their gift program. Their job functions are unknown, but the evidence below speaks for itself. I will also link to a member’s correspondence with customer support last year. The exchanged e-mails and other information are very significant as it validates the connections to Consumers Reward Solutions.

Let’s start with the most obvious. Across numerous whois domain searches you will find “Elise Petri”, “Consumers Reward Solutions”, and the Broadway address. This tells us that Consumers Reward Solutions offers a gift program. The Broadway address is the same one on Consumers Reward Solutions web site: www.consumersrewardsolutions.com

What I find puzzling is no phone number, or e-mail exists on the contact page. I had to contact them with the one in their policy. They still haven’t answered my message regarding their services. You would think a company that encourages businesses to work directly with them would reply. I’m feeling like their purpose of Consumers Reward Solutions is to scam, and a mere 15% of their effort, if that, is devoted to their lead generation network. If you Google them, no other companies speak of them, and don’t they claim, “ConsumersRewardSolutions is one of the world’s largest integrated online marketing companies” on their front page? No interviews, no articles, no blogs, no mention of them at all. Just how much business do they do? Why won’t they let me call them to talk shop? I e-mailed last week, inquiring about their services in hopes they would drop me a name. I asked, cordially, to speak to a superior so that a partnership could be formed. We’ll see if they come back.
This name appeared under the registrant for directsurveysolutions.com. I was able to link Karrie-Lee Karreman to Consumers Reward Solutions since someone who did directsurveysolutions.com received a call from “CRS”, Consumers Reward Solutions, about their gift.
This member’s message to me:
“Hi I am dealing with the same company that Jessica Owens was dealing with, they are called Consumers Reward Solutions (CRS) and they are based in Canada, they have not phone number or fax number and the only way to email them is through a text field on their website and the down side to this is that you can only insert text and its very hard to try to “forward” a email confirmation into a text field. I ended up submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau of Canada and within a few weeks a rep. FROM CRS called my cell phone and gave me his name and said that their records only show that I had completed 11 offers when I actually have completed 13 which is what is required. He requested that I send him the 2 additional confirmations again and I asked for a direct email rather than using the stupid text field and he an actual email address. I submitted the 2 confirmations and to my surprise he responded the next day saying “Congratulations you have won the free iPhone 4″ (which is the prize I was working towards) and he also attached a release form for me to sign and verify my address on and I scanned it and emailed it back to him now I am waiting for that response.”

If you’re a long-time reader, you’ll recall the famous sneering responses from none other than yours truly. At the time we thought it was RewardStream, but check out the support e-mail addresses: svcacct@consumersrewardsolutions.com – svcacct@sureresponsemedia.com. Busted. Anyway, svcacct@sureresponsemedia.com, the address that partook in the derisive e-mails, matches up with sureresponsemedia.com, a domain formerly managed by Sean Miller.

I’m posting these e-mails again in case any of you missed them. This member never was paid, btw. For the full scoop on these e-mails, click here: http://www.diyfreebies.com/?p=46

Me,
We have received your email; but the only email address we found under your name was this one being used for this message.
Did you use a different email address when you signed up? The reason we are asking is because this email address xx@xx.com, doesn’t show you as having completed any offers. It does come up in our system, but does not show as you taking any offers.
If you have confirmation emails regarding all offers you took, please compile them together and send them to us in an email.
Please include the ticket number in the subject line of the email.

Unwanted text messages by Consumers Reward Solutions…
“310 654 9828 is texting you and you are paying for the message:
“You have been selected to receive a FREE $200 Wal-Mart Gift Voucher
Call 877-680-4175 ASAP!
Reply X to stop.”
That’s my lucky day… But why do I have to pay for this text message and even for another one to reply to stop it?
I called 877-680-4175 and was told that the name of the company is Consumers Reward Solutions. A manager who claimed his name is John H. told me at the very beginning that he is a busy man and has no time for me. I still wanted to know where they got my consent to send me text messages. No explanation but offer to remove my number. I have called already 3 times the same company with requests to remove my number and this is still to happen…
It is very unfortunate that Wal-Mart is involved in this harassment. If this is not the case, it should take legal action against Consumers Reward Solutions.”
source: http://www.consumeralertsnow.com/2010/07/310-654-9828-is-texting-you.html
John H. Very busy man that has no time, eh? Exactly like Dateline when a reporter puts someone under fire for a scandal, then the con man brushes them off and drives away. Got something to hide? They don’t know when to quit because the text message complaints are innumerable.
::Post edit::
Next someone inculpates them for hacking…

If true, Consumers Reward Solutions and their counterparts need a swift kick in the rear, and be liable for computer fraud. Hacking is a serious crime. There is a difference between internet and computer fraud, but hacking falls under ‘computer fraud.’ Excellent resource: http://www.lawyershop.com/practice-areas/criminal-law/white-collar-crimes/computer-internet-fraud/
Everyone should change their passwords if they did a Consumers Reward Solutions site. Better safe than sorry, even if the hacking accusation is false. Why would someone blatantly lie though? My only guess is if they fell victim to Consumers Reward Solutions’ scam.
Did you know Consumers Reward Solutions made two unflattering lists? Companies who did not respond to BBB complaints: http://sites.google.com/site/bizsmartnews/Home/companies-who-did-not-respond-to-bbb-complaints – Companies suspected of fraudulent practices: http://www.complaintsboard.com/suspicious-companies/page/657

C- is for cookie!! *reaches into cookie jar, and pulls out a crunchy chocolate chip cookie for CRS* Looks like we’ll be baking them a lot of cookies because their rap sheet of crimes is endless… RewardStream may be out, but the plan to congregate and gather as much information to fight Consumers Reward Solutions remains the same. I love this because even if you weren’t scammed you can still get involved! I personally know people who were and I want justice for them, and everybody else who got cheated. With the RewardStream matter behind us, we can realign our focus. Below are the resources to help you collect payment

Nuitech are now back to the 30-day rule. They replied to me with,
“Dear me,
Thank you for your inquiry. The terms and conditions changed on
7/29/10. Any offers completed on or after 7/29/10 apply to the 30 day
terms.”
Wanted to pass that on. I was days from doing them until the rule changed. Oh well. While on the subject of Nuitech, webprizeland goes to myrewards-vault at sign up. The T&C for webprizeland are Nuitech, but they’re identified as another company. Nuitech may be handling this company’s fulfillment, or it was their own DBA that they diverted to Reliant. Nuitech stated that they only manage the fulfillment process of coolpremuims and rewardaisle, btw. This info came from Fifisoda, and kinneylamb. Gotta give them credit! Thanks for phoning NT, and testing out webprizeland.

I can’t tell you how relieved I am to be closing this case shut. The Canadian company nightmare is finally over, it was pure frustration for a year and a half. A victory has been won! We should celebrate. I will still do anything in my power to help those swindled by Consumers Reward Solutions. For now, I’m going to enjoy the fruits of our labour, as you all should too. We each deserve a pat on the back for helping each other, not only through the Canadian company fiasco, but for every other situation that has sprung up. Think back to last year’s Brandarama episode. Just assisting someone with terms, new rules, links, and posts goes a long way in our DIY community. Little things do make a big difference.
Before I go, I want to give a shout out to the author of www.bargainfun.net Her blogs are packed with extraordinary deals, giveaways, and freebies!! Check her out. kinneylamb, what would I do without all your support? Thanks for listening to my distress over the RewardStream matter, you exceeded my expectations. Our late night chats are always a joy, too.
Until next time…

So like many folks, I was enticed by their ads for a free iPad. I had a couple friends who did this kind of thing years ago and got free iPods, so I jumped right in. 5 free trials into it, I thought I was done, and sent a few questions through their customer support ticket system on the directsurveysolutions.com website. I also looked up the website online and found out who it was registered to and where. Of course, it was the above: Directsurveysolutions.com
Karrie-Lee Karreman ()
1917 West 4th Avenue
Suite 279
Vancouver
British Columbia,V6J-1M7
CA
Tel. +866.9669188
So I googled it and started calling nearby businesses after the 866 number had a dialup connection on the line when I called. Mail Boxes Etc. told me that they can’t give out information like phone numbers or anything, but that the address is linked to a mailbox within their store, and they are always getting mail from various legal institutions and agencies from law enforcement to the BBB.
After a little deeper review, I believe that these websites are indeed linked, and I agree that the owners (including the above) register various domain names and milk them while they’re fresh (before the complaints add up), and then switch to another one and start over.
I’m not sure how long they’re going to be able to do this, as they should be in jail.
Thanks for putting all this info up! I am going to go change my email password and my credit card numbers now.
Thanks! At least I only invested about $15 in it so far. Yikes.
I got roped in too… before I found this website. The bad news is that mine was for a Laptop so I had to take 13 offers. I did some research beforehand and thought that I could make this work if I keep good records and all. But that might not help if Consumer Rewards Solutions are illegally trying to avoid giving the prizes. Can anyone help me with this problem: I successfully accepted 12 offers, but one of the 13 didn’t work for some reason (when I went to pay, it didn’t seem to go thru plus I never got a confirmation email). So what I need to do is go back an accept another offer, but I’m not sure how. Then–finally–I can start bugging Consumer Rewards Solutions for my prize.
Thanks
Rob,
When did you sign up? CRS gives you 180 days to fulfill the offer process, so you’re good if you aren’t over the 6-month mark. Click the “gift status” link at the bottom of the page to log in and finish your last offer. They may make you wait 30 days or so for crediting time on the offer. If you don’t have time, contact them asap and let them know you completed your last offer. Tell them you are aware that your 180 days is near, but you completed the offer just now. Do that as a precaution. There is some positive news… 3 members received release forms from CRS, which is the final step in obtaining your reward. Just waiting on payment reports now. I will give an update on the CRS situation next month. If you have any further questions, let me know. Good luck!!
Evin,
Thanks for the info from Mailboxes Etc., very interesting!! How many offers is your iPad site, 8? I ask because they’re giving members release forms now, and since you’re already 5 offers into it, you may want to chance it. Since they’re currently in paying mode they might reward you. However, if you do, proceed with caution as others have had to fight tooth and nail for their profit. I suspect they might be low on funds, and if so, it may explain the lack of payouts as there are stories of non-payment all over the web. Whether they intend to pay or not, there are people who haven’t received their gifts, and only paying a handful of members due to lack of funds or whatever reason technically labels them a “scam” until they reward everyone.
I also believe they jump from one to the next and keep it going. What’s frustrating is there is barely any info on the individuals behind these domains. Unique names and addresses and that is it. I discovered they paid people last year, so I will publicly state that. The one’s working with them on their gifts right now haven’t reported back to me yet. Hopefully those receiving their release forms get their gifts. New updates will be given next month.
Woz,
I signed up just 10 days ago (Aug. 16). So I have plenty of time I think. I tried what you suggested a few times over the last 24 hours and keep getting this message: “An error occurred: Please see your administrator for additional information.” On that same site–when I click “Support Center”–I am given the option to “Submit a ticket”. Should I do that or try one of the email addresses in your post above (svcacct@consumersrewardsolutions.com OR support@consumersrewardsolutions.com)?
Thanks!
-Rob

Hi Rob,
Submit a ticket to them, then try sending the same message to both e-mails. Let me know if they respond.

I’m actually experiencing the same problem at Rob for the same offer. I completed the 13 offers but keep getting an error message. I have submitted a ticket as well and keep getting stock email response. Please keep me updated as well with what is going on. I wish I’d found this page about 3 days earlier.
Hi Melanie,
I’m actually investigating two names associated with that company. They may or may not be connected to Consumers Reward Solutions… I’m in the process of finding out exactly what company they are, if not CRS. I plan on writing about my findings on this unnamed company in September’s blog. Stay tuned!
wozniack
@ Rob & Ursula
I started an offer on the 17th and then started doing research on the company and this is how I found this blog. FANTASTIC BLOG! I submitted a ticket on 8/20 and received a response on 8/24 saying that all but one offer has been verified. They told me to email them the confirmation of the last offer that hadn’t been approved yet. Of course, no email was given. I tried to send it to them through their silly communication system, but I kept getting that same response “An error occurred: Please see your administrator for additional information.” The reason for it was because my response had emails in it. For some reason you can’t have any email addresses in your ticket when communicating with them. I haven’t heard back from them yet if they approved my last trial or not. My fingers are crossed and my anxiety is through the roof hoping I get what they told me I would get. Hopefully this helps you with submitting your own ticket. ;o)
One tip on the email, the email addresses for the Canada sites tend to be svcacct@
Rob, same thing happened to me with the message about “An error occurred…”. Funny thing is I had checked the ‘redemption status’ page/link before I started the 13 offers to make sure it worked and it did work. But as soon as I had signed up for the offers, the redemption status page put up that message. I have submitted numerous ‘tickets’ to the company “freegiftgroupdirect.com” which I believe is related to the website you did. They promise to respond within “72 hours maximum”. Well, 12 days later I get an automatically generated response that has nothing to do with helping me. Just a run around answer about “refer to the rules and registration form” And they sent the same response to another ticket I’ve submitted. And still haven’t replied back to another ticket. I have already reported them to the BBB and I reported them to the Internet Crime Complaint Center. I signed up for my 13 offers on 8/13/10 so my only hope is that on 9/13/10 they will send me an e-mail confirming that all 13 of my offers approved! We will see, but I highly doubt it. The BBB says the company has until 9/3 to respond to them so I’m waiting on that too.
I copied my comment below from your blogger site:
8/19
Hello, I recently (last Friday) signed up for a $1000 Best Buy gift card with freegiftgroupdirect.com (Amazing-Brand-Rewards.net.) I believe I have been scammed b/c I can not get customer service to reply back to me (b/c I can not see the ‘redemption status’ page on the member support page to see if my 13 offers have approved or not.) After doing further research this looks like the Canada company (Consumer Rewards Solutions?) that you have been trying to take down. I am very familiar with online offers and have always received my prizes. I am so disappointed. Is there any hope for me in this offer or is this part of the Canadian company?

Hi everyone,
I have some exciting news that will soon be revealed! Julie and Melanie, it is now confirmed that freegiftgroupdirect.com, prizerewardgroup.com, and the addresses affiliated with these domains are part of Consumers Reward Solutions. New proof has been found within the last 5 minutes that will support this claim, that the two individuals managing these sites are tied to Consumers Reward Solutions. Working on the new entry now. I can hardly wait to show what I’ve found along with more info on other DIY companies.
Have a good weekend everyone!
See you soon…
wozniack
P.S.– Julie, I also left you a comment on blogger explaining why I was so late to your reply. Sorry about that.
Quick update: I figured out a way to accept the 13th offer. I still had my browser history from the day I completed the 12 offers, and also when the 13th offer would not work. So I was able to retry that 13th offer (with a different credit card this time) and it worked. So now I have to wait until the CSR folks get the “notification” from that 13th (and final) offer.
Julie: I have had the same experience with the tickets… just a formal reply that has no relation to my question. I’ve also emailed the svcacct@consumersrewardsolutions.com address, but no reply. Please keep us informed about the report to the BBB and the Internet Crime Complaint Center. If that gets any movement, I may try it too.
Thanks,
-Rob
Another quick update: This morning I was carefully searching through my spam mail and found that “Dave” responded to my email (I sent to the svcacct@consumersrewardsolutions.com address) and had attached a release! So I’ll fill it out and scan it and email it back (as Dave instructed) and let you all know what happens next.
-Rob
Rob, I got an e-mail from Dave too, but from svcacct@freegiftgroupdirect.com
He told me 11 out of my 13 offers approved and to send him 2 e-mail confirmations for the other two. We will see what happens!
Rob, I received my ‘release’ yesterday also after sending Dave the 2 e-mail confirmations. I scanned it and e-mailed it back. Is the next step just waiting for the gift in the mail?
8-10 weeks from now and you will have the gift if you have sent the release.
Same exact thing happened to me Julie. I got an email from “Dave” with the attached release. Signed and scanned it back and asked him to confirm that he got it and that the file format was correct… and lo and behold, he replied (positively). Soooo, now the waiting begins. Sept. 7 + 8 weeks = Nov. 2. I’ll post back here if there are any updates or if I ever get the laptop. Julie, please do the same.
Thanks,
-Rob
Freebie Guy,
Do you mind telling us what gift you applied for and received?
-Rob
The waiting game is on for me as well. Sent my info to Dave and my 8 week date is Oct. 26th. I’ll keep everyone updated.
Macbook Pro = $2500 check
Hey everyone, Wozniack, I am the one that told you I got the release and I was waiting….I am not sure wtf is going on with this company i have about 4 months worth of emails with this “Dave” character…i waited the 8 weeks after i submitted the release and he dragged on for about 3 weeks saying “i will send the tracking info soon/at the end of the week/next week” and then he changed his story to “we are switching gift suppliers” and then it went to “the iphone 4 is on back order with the gift suppplier” and THEN he gave me the option to either wait for it to come off of back order OR to send me a $300 dollar check…seeing as the iPhone 4 retails for 700 that pissed me off..so i showed him that the phone is worth 700 dollars and he told me that i will not receive a check from them for 700 dollars..so i said okay ill wait for it to come off back order…how long do i have to wait?…and he wouldn’t give me a clear cut answer and i said call your supplier and ask him how long it will take and he said “i just got off the phone with him and he said the same thing i said” and he said “assume a couple of months” and i said the apple website for Canada estimates a 3 week shipping period for the iPhone 4…i will triple that waiting period and i better receive my iPhone 4 before Dec 3, 2010…if I don’t get my gift by them this company is gonna fucking go down.
Oh and I bet mr. “freebie guy” is blowing smoke up everyone’s ass…there’s no way stupid ass “CRS” sent him a check for 2500…I bet that’s the low-life “Dave” himself just reading the blog…I despise them.
Why does my subject line say that?
After reading the previous post (Thanks Charlie!), I emailed Dave, albeit 2 weeks early, to inquire about the status of my gift and whether it would be shipped on the 25th. He responded that the gift is on backorder and he doesn’t know for how long, but offered me a check for two-thirds the value of the gift, which is unacceptable. So I’ll be responding shortly to his email, but for anyone else who is just waiting out their 8 week period…ummm…you may want to get in contact with our “buddy” Dave….hmmm…(*rolls eyes*)

I’m currently trying to get myself the free dell xps laptop from ConsumersRewardSolutions. I’m keeping extensive records, and waiting on my last confirmation of fulfillment for the 13 sponsors. Are there any stories of people successfully getting their laptop prizes?
And I can’t receive emails from them. I can from another domain name they host (and accidentally sent to me), but i can’t from them. And therefore, I can’t log in to check my status or confirm my shipping address when that component comes up. Any advice?
Charlie or Ursula,
Did you ever end up getting your gifts?
Randy,
Try these direct e-mails: svcacct@freegiftgroupdirect.com – svcacct@consumersrewardsolutions.com – stewartfotheringham@yahoo.ca — svcacct@freegiftgroupdirect.com works, because I always get responses within days. I also have received replies on the others. Dave should answer. Forward any offer confirmations he asks for, and if you are approved he will send you a “release form” to fill out. You confirm your own address when you are given the form. A w9 is also required. Scan both documents in with your signature, and send them to Dave.

thanks wozinack. but a w9??–i don’t feel comfortable giving this “company” my ssn
Randy,
They don’t ask for a w9 up front, but I sent them one in advance in case they needed it. Dave has been approving members with only the signed release form. I just assumed a w9 was required since it was mentioned in the release form. Sorry about that!

Hello,
I am with ConsumerRewardSolutions.com (without an S on Consumer), and we are not happy that you are posting false information about our company.
Above quote:
“There’s more. Bear with me. There is an omitted ‘S’ in “consumers” when pulling up their company, but this screen shot will confirm that whether or not an ‘S’ is in “consumers”, it is the same company. They go by both so there are no mistakes. This knowledge also proves that the above complaint is really about them. ”
This is false, we are in no way affiliated with the ‘problem’ company. It would seem that we have chosen a poor domain name, after reading the problems people have been having with this other company. (ConsumersRewardSolutions.com)
If you have any questions for me, you can contact me through our website http://www.consumerrewardsolutions.com
Shane
Shane,
I apologize for the mix up regarding your company. It was not done intentionally, your company was mistaken for ConsumersRewardSolutions. I take full responsibility for this mishap, however. I removed the part with your company name as well as the image that accompanied it. In my upcoming entry, I will tell members that your company, ConsumerRewardSolutions is NOT ConsumersRewardSolutions. The name can very easily be confused with the Canadian company, ConsumersRewardSolutions, so everyone should know who is really who. I’m sorry this upset your company, that is not the purpose of this blog.
To everyone reading, myself and Shane communicated via e-mail and all is well. I feel really bad about this, and will work on clearing up this matter in May’s blog.
